Upcycle ♻️ your wardrobe and meet creative community at our upcoming Indigo community dye pot event! 💙 Bring your old textiles and give them new life with vibrant shades of blue. While your projects are soaking in the indigo vat, feel free to enjoy snacks and drinks whilst mingling with fellow creatives. Pallavi from @hameshaproject will be facilitating the event and providing instruction. 👩🏽🎨
Some Guidelines:
⁃Make sure to only bring 100% natural fiber garments! 👚 Cotton, linen, hemp, wool, silk, etc. No synthetic blends! ❌
⁃We’ll have a garment drop off window (April 24th 1-6pm 📆) to prep the fibers beforehand! If you can’t make this, you’ll still be able to participate day of! There will be a prep station at the event.
⁃Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Or bring an apron
⁃Members will have first dibs on the dye vat from 5-6!
⁃Tickets will be sliding scale! $20-$30 to help cover material costs
