Empowering emerging artists.

It can be hard to break into the art world. At Wave Collective Space, we focus on supporting emerging, independent, local artists, creatives and makers. Our location on Haight St. is a place for artists and lovers of art to come together, share their passions, and build creative community. We’re also working on other ways to support artists through online sales & marketing, open studio tours, corporate events, and curating shows in other spaces. 

We started Wave as a popup, but quickly realized that it should become a permanent space. The excitement & support we've received from friends, strangers, and the neighborhood has shown us how vital spaces like this are. We have decided to try and become a permanent space and re-launched in May with a membership model. We are hoping to attract folks who want to build creative community vs. a more “transactional" gallery-artist or gallery-client relationship. Membership dues will also help off-set the commission & fees we charge. In fact, we’re launching with only 20% commission (compared to the usual 50%-60%)! Come join us in creating affordable, flexible, and inclusive creative spaces in the city that we love!
